    Default Remote stomp grate pictures

Who all has the remote stomp grate lever? I would like to build one and I dont think it would be that hard, except my lever would have to be modified since I have a center steer boat.

Can you guys post a couple pictures of your handle setup where it mounts? Doing the stomp grate part is easy, its the handle that will be interesting.

Also, who did you buy them from? Is it Compeaus that builds them or somewhere else.

    Thanks.

I did try to search, but we all know how crappy that can be...

I found those pics already but there are none of the handle, plus f0zzy2 doesn't mention who he got the kit from. Ill send him a message though and see if he has some more pics.

    Thanks

That's what I was thinking just failed to type it. I'm interested how these work also.

Contact Ben at Silver Streak Boats in Anchorage. He builds stomp grates, quality work, made in Alaska, reasonably priced.

Sorry if I wasn't clear...I already have a stomp grate, but somebody makes a kit to have a "dash/console" mounted remote actuator handle. This is what I want pics of. I want to see if I could modify the handle to get it to work from my center steering position drivers seat.

    Thanks

They don't make an Electric actuator that would open and close fast enuff.
Do I give my friends advice? Jesus, no. They wouldn't take advice from me. Nobody should take advice from me. I haven't got a clue about anything..

Give Riddle Marine a call, I saw one on a 212 Hamilton the other day, it was on a new 22 ft boat. There was a small hydraulic cylinder just above the top of the normal shaft on one side to move it up and down.
They even had a cool new bash plate that looked like a ride plate under the jet it bolted onto the existing 212 bolts on the rear housing and where the zink is located on the rear of the jet. There is a pic on thier FB page of them none of the stomp grate though.
