Wink Floated the upper Kenai today

Took the raft out today, first time this year. Bridge to sportsmans, caught about as many as I usually do and did't have to deal with rods or fly boxes bouncing around the raft. We saw one rise and had a laid back float without fishing. Saw one drift boat the whole time.

If it was like here it was a fine day to do just that. Good time to float without the crowds.

Beer or fly rod, one of the two is required.

    Should be in the regs

Glad you guys got out Scott, sounds like a nice time.

I believe it is written in the Geneva Convention that one or the other is required. Or maybe that was the lost tablets dating back before Jesus.

If Dan said it, that's good enough for me.

Glad to hear you had a nice float, Scott. What type of raft do you have? Any pictures?

    Cheers,

Rich, I've got a 14' round aire. We call it a big playpen - here's a picture of the kids debating which pattern to tie on two years ago at willow.

I took a photo of jerome lake on the way to the kenai, then I never took my camera out while we were on the water.
