Some folks pay really good money to get a mount that looks that bad! Speaking of not so great mounts what happened with that sheep mount several months back that a forum member offered to fix?

I've wondered the same thing LuJon. PM'ed the taxidermist and never got a reply.

There's a lynx in the Fairbanks sportsman's warehouse that might fit right in with those pictures!

Est $1500+ for 2 donkey mounts of be askin for a refund!
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

You think so? I don't think I could drink enough to make that thing look like a bat.

I think you should post a picture of the purple nosed bison! A RARE species for sure!

Okay okay. I think it's "supposed" to be a bat. Instead it turned out to be a puppet from sesame street!

The bison is still a sore subject. Just hope it can be fixed.

I would fit right in with this crowd.

I think we need to start a new thread with nothing but messed up mounts that were done by Alaskan taxidermist.

    Bronco,

I believe you are right. We ought to have a section for that. I know I got two that would fit right in.

With maybe a cautionary notice of extreme pain and laughter if viewed.

I have a bison and a black bear at this point to add to the collection. I sure hope those are the end of my contributions..

I think the way to do it is for people to post the picture of their mounts with the taxidermist name underneath it and not say anything. This would absolve the forum from any law suits for defamation or what not and allow potential customers an opportunity to see a variety of animals from a variety of taxidermist. If anyone wanted details they could then pm the OP of said animal.
