    if I'm reading this right when using a kwikfish I can only have one single hook on it?

    Yep. Ditch the trebles and use one single hook on the tail end. It works just fine!

    Been doing it that way on the Kenai since the turn of the century.

    BTW keep your eyes out for a soon-to-be-released open-eye sickle style "siwash" hook from Gamakatsu. Promises to be the ULTIMATE single hook for plug-fishing.
