Default Alliant Unique Re-badged as "cleaner burning formula"

I'm wondering if this is true? Has anyone tested the difference between the old formula and the new?

I've shot them both and can't see any difference in cleanthlyness(if that's a word?). I read once, somewhere, that Unique is just bigger grained Bullseye?

Unique is one of my favorite powders, so long as it's still available and performs the same I can care less whether they come out with a cleaner burning fomula. I've never found it to be overly dirty, but it provides amazing accuracy in some applications.

If you have a tenuous grasp of reality, Alaska is not for you.

I didn't find it to be any cleaner. Unique was very accurate for me, and what I always reloaded my 38spl/357 with, but I switched over to Win231 for my pistol reloading because it doesn't gum up my semi-autos.
