    I just put my TM260 on last week as well. These things are frickin huge!

    You ought to see the B260. I'm just installing mine and it's almost 2 feet long by 5 1/2". I'm going to mount it near the centerline so I don't run in circles all day from the drag. We're going to see the fish, right?

    just a quick report; WOW!! held bottom easily to 40+ mph, could see a ton of stuff, some of what i thunk was fish, some just junk, need to learn its tendancies. could see my stacked rigs on the down rigger! very impressed.

    What kind of fish finder have you got on the other end? I've got a Furuno FCV-585 and just finished up my thru hull installation this weekend and waiting for the 5200 to cure before getting launched. Can't wait to see what this thing does.

    went with raymarines new C9 series, same as there touch screen, just not the touch version. i am seeing things I never saw before, just have to figure out what they are
    not bieng your avearge computer junkie, it is capable of doing way more than i know how to get out of it. But the more i get to play with it the mre i love it.
    I had a couple bleeps on Friday while i was trolling that i am still trying to figure out, but i am convinced they were razor clams buried in the mud!!!

    Are these things using the new CHIRP technology with multifrequency sonar?

    The Furuno 585 and matching B260 ducer are not CHIRP units. That would have almost doubled the 2 large into this already, not in my budget!

    I knew it was costly - but didn't know the new technology was THAT much - couple years and the cost will go down some.
