    Default Tool Time!

Everyone has a field tool kit, but what makes your kit special? What tools do you keep in your kit on the trail that are essential? How about spare parts?

Nothing special: full socket set, wrench set, screwdrivers, vise grips, channel locks, etc. But most importantly a bit of baling wire and electrical tape. Oh, and jumper cables and tire repair kit along with a portable compressor.

Just the basics. If you need a whole toolset chances are you're not gonna fix it in the field.

Wrenches to 3/4 or Mm equivalent. Sockets of the same size.
Tire change tools, plug kit and mini conpressor.
I usually carry a HiLift which has several uses.
    Zip ties, electrical tape.
    Leather man
Spare belt and belt cover o-ring.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

Tire change tools, tire plug kit, mini compressor, and air gauge
Screwdrivers, Vice Grips, Socket wrench with some sockets
Rods, washers, and pins (when equipped with tracks).

I get stuck or help others get unstuck more than I need to work on the rig. So also take the following.
Collapsible shovel, Hatchet, Multi-tool, knife, paracord
    Fuel for ATV, Fuel additive
Chainsaw, 50:1 oil, Chain Oil, mixed gas can.
rope come-a-long, rope, tow strap, pulleys.

A couple extras that I carry in a small tool kit. Silicone 'rescue' tape, hose clamps, couple feet of fuel line.

Seems like the plastic fenders are always getting torn off; a few bolts and large washers in the toolbox, you can repair them and be on your way. Driving in mud with no fenders gets tiresome rather quickly.

    I'd add:
file a travel plan with a friend or loved one.
Also, carry a sat phone, spot, or similar device.
