    Default Cooper Landing trails

    How are the trail conditions down in cooper landing / seward area? still a lot of snow? Thanks

    Still a ton of snow in the woods by my place south of Moose Pass. There are still riding snowmachine at Lost Lake , it's going to be a while yet.

    All trails 'tween Seward and Cooper Landing, north to the summit, are all under three+- feet of crusty AM snow, post-hole slush in the PMs.
    While the snow has been melting each day, especially the recent sunny days, the snow conditions are still about two weeks behind a normal spring.
    Been there...very recently.

    Hiked up Lost lake trail to Clemens cabin and ran down. still lots of snow, but very little post holing although I stayed on the snowmachine tracks and was wearing micro spikes. great times
