    Default Fishapalooza dates?

Pretty far away I realize and I know your fishing season is in it's infancy, but curious what dates you guys are planning on for Palooza. I am doing float trips on two NW rivers Aug 26-Sept 7, a week on each. While my trip timing is perfect for dollies/grayling in NW, I am wondering if I will be coming up too early for Palooza.

If any of you guys are going to be on the Upper Kenai in early Sept, I might plan to spend 4-5 days in the area after my float trips. However, without anyone to fish (drink) with, I might just fly back to NC. Won't have a boat or anything, will be traveling solo, so whether I spend some time on the Kenai is going to be determined by the timing of others. Think big dude drinking Coor's Lights, cheap compact rental car, and tent camping. That is what is in the budget this year. ha ha...

I thought Fishapalooza was an alcohol-free event?? :wink
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

Figured John would be in your boat.

Does your drifter hold 3.5 people?

    And a dog.....

Dan, we may have a raft you can use if you'd like for Fishapalooza. I most likely will not be cleared for water activities yet. Stupid knee! The doc said 5-6 months, september is a little early.

    Dan
I'll be there around the 5th of September until the 5th of October.
I also have my spare 1 man cat available.
Plus there should be a spare bunk in my trailer.

    You guys are too much

Cristan, thanks for the raft offer, I appreciate your hospitality. Be sure to drop by for some dutch oven cooking. I hear pineapple upside down cake is good for a bum knee. As is liquor, read an article about it just the other day.

Can't wait to get a corn dog at Wildman's. And a shower of course, after my 2 week float trip up north. I can almost taste the Alaska Amber now. Sitting in John's lap in Chuck's drift boat, using the spare cat of Dave's, and even a bunk to sleep on with Sahtu if the weather turns shiity or the bears rip up my tent (again)? How can I say no to that?

I will look forward to seeing you guys/gals in Sept. Buying plane tickets soon. Just wanted to get an idea of what you folks had planned before doing so. Carrie got bread in the oven so she will be missing out this year. However, she was insistent on me going. Looking forward to spending 4-5 days on the Kenai with you folks. I will be getting down there around dinner time on Sept 7th. I never miss dinner time.

Congrats to you and Carrie on the new addition! If you need a place to stay while in Anchorage, you know where I live.

One size? I thought you said she was preggers. Don't they blow up like baloons when they are?

Might have to call in Omar the Tent Maker for this one!!!!!!

Thanks man. If you are not going to be around the campfire during my time there, perhaps I can invite myself over for dinner on my way up to Anchorage on the night my flight heads back to NC. That pistol pete marinade you concocted is some awesome stuff. Just had it an hour ago on some center cut pork chops.

I would show this to Carrie, but her sense of humor seems to have abandoned her in recent weeks

Perhaps we can do both! Keep me posted and we can make it happen. How was it on the chops? It is good in a bloody mary, too.

Well you can come over for dinner or we can do it out on the Sound. We have been talking about this for a few seasons, eh? The choice is yours.
