nice.... I love my GoPro! Had some real fun with it... especially when everyone forgets it's suction-cupped onto the bulkhead and still recording...

Very cool video. I just bought one too and used it for the first time this weekend. What program do you guys use to put the finished product together?

    rob,
I use Sony's Vegas. Great non-linear editor. I do use the 64bit PRO version, but there is a lesser version that is more affordable. Does well with the HD videos. But then I tried some in Windows' Movie aker which is free. It did the job, but not the greatest.

That's awesome. It looks like a day trip. How long were you soaking the pot? I'm going out next weekend to shrimp for the first time. Just curious.

Might not be the spot, but the time of day. I always catch more during a dark cycle, hands down better shrimping for me at night or low light.

Thanks for the compliments I will pass them on. Not sure what program he is using on his Mac. I do agree that the Windows Movie Maker gets it done but it is serious task to end up with something cool.

I`ll take the darker cycle into consideration...didn`t have any sun to worry about saturday.

We left them for just about 6 hrs. Good luck out there and pour over the search feature to get some good hints.

    Steep and deep
    Rocks...not mud
    Lots of bait

Let me know when you get your impellor back together and I may be able to sneak out for a day trip 2nd weekend in May with my boat. Skipping this weekend and headed out with Rob on his boat the 5th. If you go sooner...hit the #`s I gave you for Seward.

Thanks!! I`ve tried very hard to make everything fit and bring as much creature comfort as possible into the equation. It is smallish but being a RIB it handles big water safely and is a hoot to run with the overkill level of horsepower...acts more like a watercraft than a boat. I`ll have to get somemore pictures in my build thread.
