    Default They are finally here

    was down at the river every day last week finally saw a few fish rise on friday with no luck... come saturday landed 4 fish in 4 casts.. with this being the biggest20120414_153424.jpg

    It must be the shadow of the net that gives it that funny pattern. Nice, wish we had open water down here without having to go to the Kenai.

    grayling yes and i didnt notice the pattern from the net when i snapped the picture... sure was a nice one.. almost didnt fit in the net... must of been all of 30"+ lol

    Nice fish man, I am sure that the slough's should be getting some good Grayling action as well soon!

    hahaha i would think so too but im pretty sure the s**t plant is on the tananna at the end of peger road

    Your correct Tyler the sh#t plant is on peger. The reason it's open is not the water treatment plant, but rather Aurora Enegy. They are discharging cooling water, (although it's not cool when it comes out of the plant!)

    Great to see the fish are in!

    I caught 6 last night on the slough, things are picking up as the water opened up quick. I still got ice fishing to do....icefishing and flyfishing in the same week for me.

    i too was there (bad gas) last night for an hour around 8pm and saw only 2 small fish caught... i think were still a few days from great action there

    I was there in the afternoon and caught eight, but it was in a few short spurts with a lot of nothing in-between. There were a lot of people not catching anything but I think that they were just not fishing deep enough.
