Thanks I heard about them but could not find any confirmation, the rep. said that Suzuki,s fuel injection was easy to bleed water out
a concern with most FI systems and small outboards.

Looks like its weight is 99# for the Manual SS thats lighter than the Honda 20 HP which is the lightest current 20 HP 4 stroke.
Wonder what real market price will be like?

That is nice. I'd like to hear some field reports from this one. That's a 20 percent weight savings from my 15 HP Tohatsu.

I'm still leaning strongly toward SD instead of OB though.

I know what you mean but never having owned or operated a SD make me nervous. The noise level and lack of reverse is a hard concept to wrap my head around but the ability to operate is such shallow conditions is the big attraction.

Heck I would really love to have both!

You're right on...just when I thought I had enough outboards. I did buy a 6.5 hp horz shaft to make a long tail but that has been shelved until I get moved so it looks like a next winter project.
Somewhere along the way I have lost the ability to act politically correct. If you should find it, please feel free to keep it.

I saw this new lightweight Suzuki 20hp EFI motor on display @ AR&K for $3285.
Now, if I can just find a jet-drive that will fit on it ???
