Default WOO-HOO! My .375 W Is Close To Being Shipped!!! :)

Called Jim Brockman this morning and he told me he'll be finished up this week and the rifle will be shipped late this week or early next week.

I cannot WAIT! Too bad The Season is over though. But there is time to lay in some loads!

It is a ZKK-6-2 rechambered from .375 H&H to .375 Weatherby using a reamer had made from PTG.

The action has been trued and smoothed, pillar bedded and free-floated barrel, the chambering engraved on the barrel shank, a Silver's recoil pad installed with the stock being shortened to 13.75 LOP, extractor and bolt blued, and Talley 30mm rings installed.

The reamer I hd made for a tight chamber 0.401" neck and the Weatherby freebore shortened to 0.135" total (to allow for bullets to be seated to touch the rifling) from almost an inch(!), and the freebore diameter tightened from 0.376" to 0.3754". The chamber is dimenshioned as a "finisher", which means it is tight.

This rifle should be a SHOOTER!
