    Default Any bears poping out?

Should the bears be comming out earlyer or later given the heavy snow year?

I heard 2 Griz were spotted by Petersville on Saturday. There activity showed they'd been awake for a few days maybe a week.

heard rumor of a pilot that saw one last week, usually a few spotted throughout the state by first week of april. i still think 3rd week of april things will get more consistant. They still have to come out, even though theres snow...

I'm pretty sure there will be two popping on adjacent hillsides on the morning of the 21st, as Kyle and I will be waiting for them.

A friend saw a blackie this AM by bicentenial park. My girlfriend works for BLM and reported a few sightings around Campbell Creek so far. It's still early, but they're moving!

Hitting Kodiak next Monday for two separate bear hunts so I'm hoping they pop out real soon. Anyone else going over?

Nothing I've heard of or seen in the northeastern Talkeetna mtns, or north side of the Denali hwy, still getting down in the low teens
in the mornings, hopefully in a week or so we'll start getting some above freezing temps at night, that seems to prompt them
    to start pushing out.

There's a few wandering around here in Kodiak. MY guide buddy saisd there were tracks out by his cabin last week. Saw fresh tracks this weekend off of the road.

Yeah, the small ones that woke up early. We all know little kids get up before their parents....

Justin? Sorry, I'm shamefully horrible at 'non screennames'

My son I'm springing him lose from school early on the 20th. We'll hunt a couple spots on the way into Alpine Creek, but we're going to leave BRWNBR alone since he's going to have a client. Not sure how the road plowing is going to mess with our plans. I'm heading up this weekend also to a couple places I've been scoping out.

The early bird doesn't always get the worm, Doug. On my trip up there in August I was pokey and slow on my way in...and found a lynx to come into my call. On the way out I was the last one to leave the lodge and drove far slower than the rest...and found a fox and another lynx. Methinks my slower pace will pay off this time around as well.

Ha! Oh, I know...was just kidding with you. Kyle will be the one stuck and I'll be the one following cautiously behind him.
