    Default russian river/kenai river ice?

I was hoping to get down to the russian river or kenai next weekend. Has anyone been down there lately i was just wondering how wading fishing was, if the ice was broke up enough to get a good days fishing in. im having some withdrawls from my fly pole. Its been a long winter, Planing on staying the ferry area or russian CG. Also what patterns are working this time of year. Thanks.

Sorry I don't have any help for you, but had the same question. Did you end up going? If so, how was accessability for wading on the Russian/Kenai?

Last weekend was almost completely open at the bridge. My sons waders started leaking in both feet, so we didn't go any further.

Was there this past Saturday. Water was open on the high bank side of the russian/kenai confluence water was low enough to wade across at sportsmans. Did see a couple boats launch from cooper. You shouldn't have any problems. Stones and midges were hatching. Good luck. O and we rolled a DOUGHNUT.
