    Red face Walrus ivory

Can any of you folks tell lme how to clean walrus ivory? I have a 31" cow walrus (skull and upper mandible only) on the wall. I've had it since picking it up on the beach near Pilot Point in August of 1961. I'd like to clean the ivory, but don't know the best method. Any help out there ???

    And thanks in advance.

Try a polishing compound. Possibly a very fine sandpaper.
