    Default Forks Roadhouse Petersville

FYI the forks burnt down lastnight.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

    Becca published it via Facebook.

Apparently it's smoldering at the moment and a total loss.

This popped up on another forum and it was mentioned the place wasn't insured.

Real hard to get insurance if fire trucks can't get to you.

That truely is a tragedy. I am saddened that I won't be able to return, and I feel even worse for those who will never have the chance to go. It wasn't just a bar, it was a piece of history, in the middle of no where, on a fantastic stretch of river......when you left you honestly felt like you took a bit of it with you, and left a bit of your self there.

News says no one was at the roadhouse when it burnt down, caretaker came in this week and found it smoldering.

So my question is that area sees a ton of traffic 7 days a week and no one noticed it? Weird.

I hope they investigate it. Could be someone with a grudge against the owners burnt it down.
