    Default electronic screen question ???

    Am thinking of updating all my electronics in the boat, soon, quite possibly going with all RAYMARINE's new e series sonar, chartplotter, radar etc..
    my big question is screen sizes. am thinking of two options;
    a single 12" screen that can obviously be split, or
    two 9" screens
    pleanty of dash room for all,
    what are your thoughts?
    thanks

    2 9's if i had the room & cash or even 2 12's.....i much prefer being able to have them independent plus you'll have a backup if something happens

    Get the biggest baddest screens you can afford and have room for.

    thanks for the thoughts gents, i ended up going with 2 9" screens, it was a big debate between the single 12 and the 2- 9's
    i would have had to mount the 12 off center of the helm to be able to view over it, so decided that the center main 9 would be better, with the fish finder or radar running angled on the port side of it.
    with ff / c.p./ radar / rear deck cam all running at the same time it will still be big enough for the 40 something eyes to see!
    i hope.
    cheers.
