    Default Harding Lake Follies

My Son and I hit Harding for our first attempt at ice fishing.

Got stuck at the parking lot and had to use the Ox to pull both the truck and the trailer out.

Got after it, after a false start,, still rolled a doughnut, maybe next time. Still a great day to be on the ice with my Son.

    Anyone going tomorrow?

Had plenty of room, just want the sled to drag gear around on the lake. I could haul 4 and gear easy.

How did you hook up the smoke stack in your tent so it doesn't burn the fabric? I have been trying to figure out how to put a stove in mine.

It is a NuWay propane stove and I just used the first section of pipe with the dampener to hold in heat, it put off some condensation, but not too bad.

Oh I see. I was thinking you routed it out of the hut for dryer heat.
    Thanks,

That would be the best way, but no stove jack for now.

If you see somebody walking all his gear out to the drop off, pick a brother up. I liked it better when I could drive out there.

Nice set up Steve. We did not bring anything to the service yesterday. About 10 groups fishing on the lake yesterday, most I have ever seen. We visited around and seemed like limited success for only a few. I did have 6 bites on the day, 2 of which were pretty good takes. I need more practice? Not doing it right...
