    Default Kicker Motor Bracket Install

Recently purchased a small Evinrude 8 HP to use as a kicker for my 21ft SeaPro. I'm trying to get a good recommendation of a place to have a bracket installed. I'm new to Alaska and this will be my first year fishing and cant wait for the snow to melt away and pull the boat out.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

I had Marita install one for my 9.9 merc last year and they did a great job with the lift and tying another fuel hose into the filter assembly.

    One small thought-

If you'll be steering by hand, put it on the port side so the shifter is inboard. I mounted mine starboard on my last boat, and in rough seas it was sometimes a PITA to shift. The kicker on my new boat is on the port side, and it does make a difference for me.

    Tiller extensions are good.
