    Default Shameless Plug

Last summer, I had the opportunity to guide Jed Fiebelkorn of Trout Unlimited's "On the Rise" television show for a few epic days of fishing in the Tongass National Forest - here is the trailer:

The first of two Tongass episodes is airing this week on the Sportsman Channel - we do a little coho fishing to start and get Jed his first coho on the fly, then we fly to a mainland river to get chased around by brown bears and catch big dolly varden. Also included is some good dialogue on the Tongass National Forest and a new proposal called the Tongass 77 - for more info on the T77, go to www.americansalmonforest.org .

Air-dates are thu-fri-sat this week (29th-31st march), and the next episode comes out in mid to late april.

No shame found here. Looks like a great trip.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

Very cool. Thanks for the heads up. I will record the show and watch it with Carrie. Won't tell her anything, just let her see you on the boob tube and say, "Hey, I know him...". Ha ha..

Nope they are not wearing body armor and helmets to protect them from the redneck snag hooks flying everywhere. Also I don't see the inevitable black cloud of no-see-ums swarming them. So definitely not Fish creek

    LOL
