Default Last day of predator hunting on March 15th! Great pic's!

Well, finally getting to post the pictures. Went for a ride with some forum members and picked up a red fox, then a few miles down the trail a cross fox. My son also picked up a limit of ptarmagin, his first full limit!

Did you just come across those fox, or did you and Bob do some calling? Great stuff!

We just stumbled on them with a bunch of snow machines.... I would really have liked to been able to call them in. Hopefully you can give me some pointers, 'Lynx Whisperer'. Next winter I'm going to figure out calling!

Ha! Don't confuse my dumb luck with any sort of skill, Claude. I was in the right place at the right times, plain and simple.

I'm hoping to make that particular weekend an annual thing. I'll see you next February, though hopefully sooner as well.

Bob is gonna grow up learning one of Alaskas best regions for almost every type of game available.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

Thanks guys! Yep, hoover, got em with the new 22-250. Both fox were well over 250 yards. What a nice shooting gun! Yep, lovin it. I'll be using it a lot. And yep, Bob has shot a few boxes of shells out the new .410. Really working out well for him.

Ha Claude now remember we talked about this and the distance on that last one was 450 wasn't it??? LOL Claude was right on on the 2 foxes and 250+ was diffidently some good shooting. You can not believe the smile on Bob's face when he would nail one of those white birds. It was sure a great day.
