    Lightbulb Experimental Aircraft

    Hi,
I just want to let anyone interested in expermintal/home built aircraft know that the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 42 will meet Tuesday, March 27, at Birchwood Airport at 7 pm. We will be looking at a nearly completed RV-6 kit aircraft. Anyone who has an interest in building and/or flying experimental aircraft is welcome to attend. This meeting will be at a hanger at the south-east corner of Birchwood Airport in Chugiak. Visit http://www.eaa42.org or call club president Robert Edison at 277-seven100 for more information. I will be out of town until Tuesday afternoon, so I won't be able to reply to questions until then.

We had a nice EAA chapter here in Homer for a few years but it died a slow death. There were a few too many guys who never flew and never completed any projects.

Several of the EAA chapters in Alaska have gone away. Kenai and Wasilla may (or may not) have active chapters. Anyone is welcome to our club, even float pilots from Homer!!!
