    Default SouthCentral Ice Thickness Reports?

Anyone who's been out during the last couple weeks care to share how deep they had to drill in the typical stocked lake sizes? (e.g. NOT Hidden or Skilak, but the small to middlin lakes)

    TIA

I haven't been out fishing much this winter due to medical conditions but in reading these posts, I would say between 2-4 feet depending on which lake your hitting. Heard of an extension being needed at one lake. Maybe review some posts in this "icefishing" thread for better info on specific lakes... good luck... "fishon"

I was actually looking for an actual inches measurement from within the last 2 weeks. We all know the ice is between 2-4 feet (more like 3-4 feet) this time of year.

Anyone drill a hole last weekend?

Sweet. Sounds like we're still within range of my equipment. I'd have to build something more if we were beyond 36". So it sounds like I can just grab my gear and head to a lake when I get home tomorrow!
