Thread: Shoulder Mount Display

    Default Shoulder Mount Display

I've got a couple of nice shoulder mounts (moose and caribou) I'd like to display somewhere. The moose is too big for where I live and I'd like to find a place where more people can enjoy it, but I can still see it when I'd like to as well. I was kind of hoping for something like a hotel lobby, i'm trying to avoid restaurants/bars and would prefer to keep it out of Sportsman's Warehouse. Does anybody know if there is any desire for something like this in the Fairbanks area, or potential leads on somebody interested in displaying these mounts?

Contact denalihunter here on the forums. He's got a lodge on the Denali Hwy that would give a loving home to some wayward shoulder mounts.
If cave men had been trophy hunters the Wooly Mammoth would be alive today

REI ........they actually contribute a great deal in the "killing" of those cute critters with all the great gear we buy and utilize from the store.....

They also have nice vaulted ceilings.......I would definetly put the moose by the stairs so all have to see !!!

I love that idea. I would get there early and just watch the people's expressions as they walked in..........

Denalihunter is owner operator of Alpine Creek Lodge at mile 67 or so on the Denali Highway. Great folks and great place to visit!

Seriously, Life Size Brown bear just as you enter the store would be perfect...it'll give any backpack hiker a "Warm Fuzzy" knowing whats out there.
