    Default Ds130

I was looking for some information on DS130. My wife drew this tag this year. I see there is a trail in Peters Creek valley, but the DNR map isnt very good. If you had the choice, Peters Creek or Pioneer (Goat Cr)? Any other tidbits would be great.

Thanks for your help in my goal to help my wife with her first sheep.

Whoops! Thanks for letting me know, Keith. It's been a pretty PM-heavy couple of weeks for me and I just missed that. It should be clear now.

yeah, i would probably start at the x's. The bigger the number next to the x means the more sheep.

If you want to team up for some scouting trips I plan on not fishing this much this year and plan on spending alot of time training/scouting in your hunt area getting ready for my sheep hunt this august. My step brother first time ever putting in for the draw pulled the sept.5 tag.

Just think how much someone would pay for a "Marauder's Map" (reference: Harry Potter) showing all the sheep!

I think the Google Earth Map is the one that shows where all the sheep are......and if you zoom in on high power, you can distiguish which are rams and ewes.

I'm waiting for the next release of Google Earth, so I can look underneath bison and better determine (instead of just from the horns) the cows from the bulls.
