    Default .45-70 gov't 525 gr.

First off, I do not recommend anyone doing this. With that said I just loaded and shot 30 ea. 525 gr. Piledrivers in front of RL-7. Loaded the spread and ended up settling around 1700 fps from my 1895 GS. Funnest load I've ever shot. Can't wait to line up the water jugs, wet magazines, and steel to see what it can do. I'm not sure what the stigma with big fast bullets is but these are like getting hit with a 50 lb. down comforter. Even loaded way hot and over-crimped, with sticky extraction, around 1800fps they still felt good. If anyone is as twisted as I am and wants to knock a grizz off its feet with a shot to the forehead, this is the load. As soon as I get a chance to take pictures of impacts I'll make sure to share.

I'm intrigued. I'm using 460gr Cast Performance right now. No issues around 1550fps. Recoil is enjoyable. Where did you get the bullets from, if I may ask?
