    Default short heavy trout rods

I have a friend who is getting into fishing, and I was lookin around at sprotsmans for a pole, and I noticed that you cant find light action, 5 1/2 foot poles any more, when we moved up here 10 years ago it seemed all the "cheap" combo rods were around 5 1/2 foot long and in a light action, now the only short poles I can find are ultr light actions, which seem a bit light for steelhead (or what ever those big trout are in the big creeks) where I fish I am always in thick brush so I like short poles, but where can I find one? I'm starting to get a little frustrated, the only place I havn't looked is walmart.
Eccleasties 8:11 Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, There for the hearts of the sons of men among them are given fully to do evil.

Try B&J. If they do not have it, they will get it!
Spending my kids' inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.
