    Default 375 HH scope mounts

Friend is coming there for a 10 griz hunt & guide said he must have no less then a 375 HH. I know. What are the best scope mounts for a gun that makes a BIG BOOM ? I am a gun guy but do not own anything that big

Steel weaver style with Warne steel rings if he wants a QD setup to use backup irons. And Leupold dual dovetails if QD doesn't matter. Talley QD rings and bases are also a great setup as well as their onepiece Ultralite if they dont need to be detachable.

Thanks. He is not a gun guy & Dad is spening 30 K for the hunt so I told him not to go cheap with rings & mount. I dont think he wants to use his open sights. I will pass info on

the quick detachable mounts are nice if you were to have to go into the brush to recover a bear....you dont have to use them but it nice to have them if you need them

Thats what I would put on my bear gun if it was mine. Scope would be on my carry on bag.
