    Default DF140 Engine Holder Plug.....?

Rather interesting thread on "The Hull Truth" regarding corrosion with a steel plug in a aluminum housing.
I have not removed mine yet to inspect, but plan to do so, anyone heard or know this?

Sounds like a recall issue to me, the manufacturer should have known better.

Apprently the plug was for a future O2 sensor that was never used and Suzuki modified the casting in 2008 and eleiminated the plug.
To my understanding the plug is not very easy to remove and one of the guys said he had to drill it out, now his was very corroded.

I am not sure if i am going to try to remove, I am in fresh water most of the time, clean the internal anodes yearly and have been told that corrosion of this nature is not much of a issue here in AK.

Just wondering if anyone in AK has had to deal with this? And since its in the exhaust stream it may be directly related to fuel quality and ethanol fuels...............
Sukuki isnt the only one with corrosion issues.....................
