I think I would put a big garbage bag around it while the cabin, and it was warming up. This would at least keep moisture from condensing on the tv as the cabin warmed up.

Heat from a wood stove won't produce any moisture. Heat from a gas stove (propane or pressure appliance fuel) will, however.

If you decide you want a traditional TV, I've got a 32 inch thats in great shape you can have for 75 bucks. I've put it away two years ago in my basement which is always at 60-65 degees and dry. Been keeping it in case I decide to build a cabin. Not sure, but I think its a panasonic.

Yes, if that's the only heat source in the house. But if they get in there and start cooking while that tv is still cold there will be condensation. Especially if it had just been -30 in the house for weeks on end.

you got that right! dang new stuff breaks so fast. by the way walmart now has 70" led tv's for sale. that should be big enough for your cabin.
