    Default Nabesna road

Anyone been down Nabesna road in the wintertime? Is it drivable or snowmachine access only? Any predators or small game to speak of?

I went back there about 10 years ago on an Easter weekend. At that time, the road was in excellent shape - plowed, with even some of the pull-offs plowed. pm for more info.

One option for local info. Wrangell-St. Elias NP has a ranger station in Slana. Not a full-time deal, but you can call 822-7405 and get voice mail for Ranger Michael Thompson, leave a message and he can get back to you. Sometime later towards spring, the office is staffed regular hours.
