    Default Left Handed Deal Alert!

Steve over at Alaska Custom Firearms has a left-handed Ruger in .375 Ruger, blued for $400. The gun is used, but looks brand new. He just got this in and told me that the $400 price is today only. Great deal for southpaws!
I may be slow, but I get where I'm going!

Tell my why I need a Ruger 375 in blue/wood when I have a Browning Stainless Stalker in 375h&h?

Not trying to argue, I just need some "ammo" to be able to explain it to the wifey.

Start chatting about cartridge efficiency, relative burn rates, maximum operating pressures and powder utilization...at length.

I have an unusual wife in that she never really complains about my purchases. Of course, she knows that she'll get hers too, sooner or later.

In a case like this, I would just go ahead. Price is good and you are unlikely to match it later.

Easy..............the H&H kicks too hard and the ammo is too expensive. The ruger could be her gun??

Just toss it back at her and ask "why does she have so many shoes of the same color" ? Women spend more money then men in general use items but they do so in more smaller purchases... Mine just asked me why I needed to buy 2 more handguns - I simply said "try selling your bags full of makeup and stay young gadgets on a garage sale and see what it gets you"?

Not to mention the every 6 weeks hair trim tint and dye.....I could buy two guns a year for what my wife puts into her noggin.

However, it does beat waking up next to a woman who actually looks her age

Good advice gents, however the key difference is my wife wears the pants in this family ~ and of this there can be no doubt.

    She who must be obeyed.

She has never objected to any of my hunting trips tho, so life ain't so bad

Well, then you can always go the honest route: Gee Honey, I really have no good reason to buy it other than I think its a good deal and I would enjoy having it, but if you would rather I didn't buy it I would understand... Then give her the puppy dog look... Good Luck!
