Japan Hills...anyone been there?

Hello fellas, I was lucky enough to draw DC 827 in 20A this year. After some research, I decided to book a drop off in the Japan Hills area. I will be taking my 13 year old son along and was hoping for some bonus opportunities for him on this hunt. I will grab a moose harvest tag, but was wondering about ptarmigan, possible fishing, and bear numbers in this area. seems there are plenty of creeks for drinking/cooking and plenty of firewood. Any first hand knowledge or
dos & donts that anyone would be willing to pass along. Might be worth some caribou meat next fall! Thanks and happy hunting.
