    Default 1911 Safety Install

I am in need of a reliable local (Anchorage) gunsmith that has experience in fitting an ambidextrous thumb safety for a 1911 .45acp.
    Any suggestions please? Thanks, ulff

DIY or send it to Wilson Combat.

Cost will very likely be the same as local, but it will be done by a 1911 specialist.

It will be no problem for Andy Hawk or Wild West guns to perform.

Thank you all for the replies. I spent most of Sunday dinking with it just like the u tube Wilson video. I have assembled quite a few over the years and just never ran into this much trouble... This is a Bates lower that a friend inherited. I've replaced all the springs and parts. He is left handed so I need the ambi on it, just shaking my head on this one. Tried Andy Hawks number, no answer and no voicemail.
