The camo skull is not to my taste, but I do really like the burl coating. Would look awesome with a coat or 2 of bar topper.

It would look great on a rifle or quad but not on a skull.

Whats the point of cleaning the skull if its going to be Camoed.

i would like to see some of them dip jobs in person.. i know they are becoming popular for the deer hunters.. it looks interesting.. but like everything NEW, i suppose it takes some getting used to seeing. just wish we had a more ALASKA pattern aval for you guys to use.. like SNOW camo or somthing... all those other real tree and mossy oak.. dont really fit in up here.. IN my opinons...

thanks for sharing it... looks like you did a good job!

I like everything but the camo. Excellent work and layout. As a long time wood worker, that burl dip is sweet looking I imagine a huge money saver.

Alaskan native style artwork on a skull is something I have been thinking about. Or some tribal type artwork of some kind with just balck ink. Yeah no camo for me, but great work.

Masterfully done, yet not my cup of tea. Still beautiful though. Nice work.

I wonder how this stuff would hold up on a shotgun? I have a Beretta that has some rust on it from hayflats, I was thinking about a camo dip before I hunt with it again.

Nice work! How well does that dip last on a gun stock and how much weight does it add?

well i imagine stink would be on the top of the list followed by getting paint to stick to meat, blood and fur might be a problem...

id really like to trick out a snow machine with it.

    fugly…
Well I imagine it doesn’t appeal to everyone and that’s ok, thank goodness we don’t all like the same things. As far as this one goes… its sold.

And if you don’t like this one your sure not going to like the pink camo bear skull a little girl is having me do next… but its gonna be awesome! She likes her bear skull but would like it to be more girly.

I can appreciate the craftsmanship, but not my cup of tea.

pretty cool, and yes i can get that pattern. i have a couple so called winter camo's but im not impressed with them. also there are a lot of patterns than you can change their appearance with depending on your base coat color and the amount of transparency in the film. kinda like making your own winter camo but trade tan for white or blue.... like the yellow camo snow machine i did.

The dipped burl wood is the bomb. The dipped skull is well done too. Put it together for us.

Looks good Preed, those pictures don't do justice of the size of those bases! Can't wait to get the rifle stocks back and I am sure they will look awsome. Still trying to figure out how to dip the dog in camo though!
