    Default S&W model 29

I have a brand new, never been fired model 29 from the 70's and was curious as to how much it is worth these days. It has the countersunk cylinder and pinned barrel and original wood box as well. Anyone have any idea?

What are the model number (29 or 29-2 or ??? as found under the cylinder yoke on the frame) and serial number? This will have a great bearing on the valuation.

Barrel length and handling marks like a ring around the cylinder from improper handling and closing will also affect the value.

If you are in Anchorage take it by Great Northern Guns for a quick apprasial. Or better yet - take it to the Palmer Gun Show next month and you can get a lot of expert advise.

Do you want to sell it or ??
