    Aurora Borealis was very active tonight,, Zach took a couple nice shots.

    Hope they are out again tonight. Learning how to do extended exposures and working with tripods and remotes in the single digits is tough. About the time we got it all figured out they went quite.

    The camera is a Pentax K200, 50mm lens, lowest F stop, ISO 800, 30 to 20 second exposure, focus to infinity, tripod and a remote.

    WOW, what a show tonight. Was hard getting shots because so many people were out driving and their headlights were washing out our shots. Zach was still able to take some nice images.

    This is Fairbanks under the lights.



    Got this one north of town.



    Poker flats fired a 46ft weather rocket into the aurora for testing and we just got lucky and got a shot of it.





    Then we saw this light shining straight up,, a laser I think.
