    out the door to help some moose out!! bears gonna be pokin' their heads up and someones gotta be there to help them adjust to the light!! have a great spring bear season to everyone, happy hunting.

    Good luck to everybody! Hope you get some good rugs (or whatever it is you do with grizzlies)! Or if you are hunting black bear enjoy the sausage!

    Nice try monkey spank...Still trying to poke at guys who shoot grizzlies..You need to let up on that course.If someone wants to hunt griz,who are you to say what they use or do with the bear.The chiming in by you is noticed by a lot in here for your negative hunting hits. Thank you,,,

    Hey you have to salvage the meat or the hide right? My buddy who I gave a severe ribbing for going bear hunting salvaged the meat I know most salvage the hide, can you do something with it besides tie flies (what I'd do) or make a rug? I realize people lke to hunt grizz and its a huge part of the state economy (even those people who go to veiw them, I dislike those people more than hunters which is why I argued for pack creek on admiralty to be opened) Bear hunting is just not for me... So aside from rugs what do you do with the hides or do you salvage the meat (good on ya then I can't eat the stuff and believe me I've tried it)

    Never hunted Griz yet, but I have eatin every blackie I have ever killed and enjoyed the heck out of it! Good eatin!

    Two Brownies taken in the Dillingham area recently....it has begun.....now where is that darned leave slip....ah, there it is...later dudes, I've got a new 338 and I'm not afraid to use it.
