Grayling under the ice
Yesterday we were pond fishing for burbot and not getting anywhere with the usual bait. Decided to give that Gulp Alive salmon egg stuff a try and the fish were immediately all over it, which was interesting. The most surprising thing was that I thought I had a really small burbot, pulled it up, and it was a grayling. First time I've caught one ice fishing. I've seen other people ask about it, so what I had on the line was a tube jig with the Gulp salmon eggs, fished about 12' down.
