Default Irondog 2012 Who do you like?

I just got done reading the other post about which brand has won the Irondog the most and thought I'd throw the question out there to see who the forum members think have the best odds.
I guess I'll go first I'm pulling for Olds/Morgan team 10 on Polaris.
There are a few new teams out there that could be a real tough to beat if they can keep it together

Well since my favorite Andy George is not running this year, I am throwing my support behind the UNDERDOGS.....Team #4 from Maine and I am also looking forward to how Andy's kid does as the young guys on the block.

I didn't realize that team 13 was so young - 18 that would be great to see those kids do good!

I have got to root for a local team. Team #17 I believe Dusty has won it before maybe he will win it again.

My second choice would be team #4. It will be interseting to see how Gardner will do after his win in the Cain's quest race this year.

I'm also rooting for #10, Chris Olds is a friend of mine, good family man and all around great guy.

I'm pulling for team 17. Dusty is my step brother and I'm proud of him. Dusty is a three time Iron Dog Champion, twice on a Cat and once on Ski Doo. It was Ski Doo's only Iron Dog Championship. Dusty is tough as nails and so is his partner Mark. Last year they were first into Nome then broke through the ice and sank one sled on the race to Fairbanks. They pulled it out, made repairs and raced hard to the end.

I remember Dusty from high school. Ticked me off when he switched to Doo.

I am looking for Olstad to win another this year. He has had some tough luck in the past and hope he pulls it off this year.

Well, looks like team ski doo is in first, with a whole swarm of polaris machines nippin at their heals. It's good to see that new rear polaris suspension is working. Somebody should let Greythorne now about this, with as much as he poo-poos on Ski-doo

Not likely. I wouldn't own a Doo... unless the company paid me to ride one.

    GO TEAM 17!
Well JOAT Arctic Cat does have one thing going for them this year.
It looks like Arctic Cat may have won the first award. The "Golden Wrench Award" $500 for the first team to scratch due to mechanical issues.

Did I hear correctly that Polaris has won the majority of the Iron Dogs, with AC winning four and SkiDoo one...?

    Yes. 13? I believe.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed
