    Default Why not bait Grizzly

With all the talk of shooting them from the air why dont they make it legal to bait them? I know people who get pizzed that Grizz is showing up on the trail cams on their black bear sets?

I would fully support this over any other method that I have heard proposed. To me it makes the most sense.

    I've wondered about that, myself.

all that from the air stuff is ONE permit.. for protection of musk ox on the north slope. it is to eliminate a few bears that prey on OX. Clafing season starts again in the sping..Bow hunters can not keep up, and the Alaska Statute will not allow them to give your collar coordinates and permit to shoot those bears ... so a PERMIT to ADFG to kill a few bears to save some ox calf is the airial hunting deal. it will be done and over before folks know it all.

It has been legal to bait Grizzlies in unit 20-F. Too many Caribou there, Grizzlies would rather eat young Caribou, than dog food and donuts.

I think making a proposal would be worthwhile about allowing baiting for grizzlies.

I can just see someone now saying,I should have brought more ladder. Anyone wanting to bait grizz needs to never ever complain about game ranch or deer feeder shooting in Texas
Now left only to be a turd in the forrest and the circle will be complete.Use me as I have used you
