    Default Ready to buy!

I'm ready to buy a small river boat and am looking for any advice. I sold my old Klamath last fall and am now planning a little Yukon river trip (Circle to Eagle and back) with my 8 year old son this summer so I need to find a boat. I was thinking something along the lines of a G3 1860, or comparable Crestliner or ?. I want a welded hull, plain Jane, no frills boat. I have a 40Hp 4 stroke prop, probably a little underpowered but it will have to do for now. Where is the best place to buy or who has the best prices? Or if you know of someone looking to get rid something similar in good condition I'd be interested in a look at it.
I'm going to head up to the boat show, I've never been to one before, do the dealers offer any show specials like they do at the sportsmans show?
    Thanks is advance.

Ya, what did you get, I made that same exact trip a few years ago moose hunting with a buddy and his new 18' Lowe Roughneck with a 90hp Honda Jet. It was a great trip!

18 foot Lowe. I think I 'm really going to like it. Thinking about putting a alum walk thru windshield near the back. Anybody got any photos a boat with one, just trying to get ideas on how to build it.
