I cannot imagine why anyone would purchase such a thing but, to each his own .

That sure would confuse the heck out of a few at that range though.

Well, I mean since, the AR 15 is considered the "barbie doll" for men with all its accessories it was bound to happen wasn't it?

At least it is not one of these muzzle loaders.

So which one will Jim Shockey use next year? Can he get a black rifle muzzle loader past the mounties, or will he use the ultimate and try for some 400 yard shots?

I like how they have combined the two extreme ends of the hunting/shooting market. The muzzleloader: A clandestine single shot weapon based upon centuries old designs and the AR: A modern military pattern rifle originally designed primarily for putting out large amounts of sustained fire.

How drunk were they when the first guy said "Hey, you know what would be awesome? Turning an AR-15 into a civil war gun. That'd be awesome. Everybody would buy one!" This whole concept makes me laugh.

Yea askin for trouble with the Mounties, looks like a true AR lower and the lower is the gun . . . what a mess that could start! Even game/fish LEOs Stateside would be talkin to you when your out on that muzzle-stuffer only hunt and they see that AR outline in your hand through their spotting scope.

    Do this ta-other-way-round and you'd have something . . . an AR that looks lkie a muzzle-styffer.

The AR is well past modern in todays world but it looks like they worked out the bugs by making it a single shot on purpose insted of function
Now left only to be a turd in the forrest and the circle will be complete.Use me as I have used you

With more money than brains . . . you can get a far better crossbow for 1/3 of that and donít need to buy an AR lower of fill out the paper work.

For $1200 I can build a .300 BLK upper and buy a silencer. Probably more silent than a crossbow.

For what its worth-- I was just being facetious on my remark about the arrows. Never wanted a cross bow and would never have one. Never in my wildest dreams did think some one would make one!! And besides I bet I have just as much fun with my AKs as you guys do with your ARs.

that's the dumbest thing I think I've read all day.. I've killed in silence, and I've hunted in silence. one brought meat to my table, and one brought freedom to yours.
