    Default ff film tour?

I missed the tour last year. Looking at the schedule it doesn't appear anchorage (or any other alaska cities) made the list. Does that mean we're not getting a showing?

Thanks. Just leaving bear's tooth now, they said tickets will be on sale a week or two before that.

Not sure it will compare to the muppetts. with a two year old.

Sweet! That was a good time last year. Maybe a group of us needs to get together beforehand or afterwards for a drink or two?

Scott - We were thinking of taking our boys to the Muppetts at the Tooth as well - after all, any excuse to go to the Tooth is a good one. How did your child enjoy it?

The seven year old liked it, the two year old lost interest after an hour. I recaptured his interest with ice cream

My wife and I will be there. It was a blast last year, so we're super excited.

(If anyone is planning on going but does not yet have tickets, I would call ahead first. They were almost sold out last Thursday when we got ours. Of course, you might find someone with extras standing outside the door...)

Myself and a few other ne'er do-well's will be there as well.

Per the Bear Tooth website, it's sold out.

Hope to run into you there, Brian!

I ran into Brian and Huntnphotos.

Heard them call your name, wyo2ak, for a flyline or something.

Yep... $75 towards new fly line. Props to World Wide Angler for the donation.

Had a good time. Ran into Brian before the show.

Overall, not as impressed with the films as last year. Of course, I ended up drinking substantially less beer this year compared to last, so maybe that affected my take on things.

It was my wife and I's first time so we thought it was pretty cool. Was our first time to the Bearstooth as well. Definitely going to make it a future habit! Scott it was nice to meet you, and Brian, good to see you again!

Your first time at the Bear Tooth? Man, you have been missing out! That is the only place my wife and I watch movies. I'm willing to wait an extra two months for any movie that I want to see, as any film is better with good food, great beer, and $3 tickets.

Wyo2AK - Sorry I didn't come back in line to talk more. I was about to head that way when the line started moving, and then...well, then there was the beer line. Agreed on the quality of the films not being as good as last year. Apparently there's another set of films coming in May, so maybe that one will be better.

Well, in all fairness I can count on one hand how many times I have been to any movie theatre in the 5 1/2 years I have been in Alaska and I will still have a few fingers left..... But the bearstooth may have just changed that! I will have to keep an eye on their schedule!

Indeed. Pay particularly close attention to Mondays, as they often play classic movies on Mondays. Their First Tap concerts are often really good as well, particularly if you like jam bands or bluegrass-inspired music.
