    Default Looking for a guy that does chambering

    Anybody know of a experienced machinist for custom chambering , custom sights , etc . ? Fbks . doesn't . Wild West has too many unhappy customers , is there anybody on the Kenai these days ?

    Your description is pretty broad. What is "custom" to one guy is run of the mill for another.

    Gunbugs on this forum got a pretty good recommendation in this thread http://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/...-lack-there-of

    Andy Hawk in Anchorage also gets the nod from many on this forum and a couple friends of mine.

    I had Stan Jackson rebarrel a rifle me and I was very pleased with it.

    I can recommend gunbugs (Fairbanks) for chambering/rebarreling rifles and WWG has always given me top shelf work and service. I've not used Stan Jackson, but know firsthand that he is an excellent machinist and does excellent work. I also have a friend that uses Andy Hawk exclusively and has nothing but praise for him. Shouldn't be hard to have most "custom" work performed in AK.

    Steve at Alaska Custom Firearms has become my go-to guy for gunsmithing. Always happy with his work.
