    Default 350 remington mag

I recently aquired one of the older 350 rm and can only find 200gr rem factory loads. I sold all my reloading equipment many years ago, but would like to find ammo in the 225gr. I really like the new Barnes bullet. It expansion and pentitration behavior reminds me of the bitterroots I loaded for my 338 and 7mm mag. Anyone have any answers for me.

    Default Ammo

Midway USA says it has 4 boxes of 350 Rem Mag 225 Nosler partition ammo. Good Luck !!!

    Thumbs up 350

    I have used a 350 for years!

Due to the lower vel a prem bullet is not needed.

I use the Speer 250 spitzer works on everything.

I have a bunch of 225 grain Kodiak bonded bullets that I have been testing. I need to sit down in a few days and write up a report of my findings. Other things are interferring with my time...

    Default Barnes TSX

    Jim,

I have settled on the 225gr TSX for my 350RM in a 600 Mohawk. It groups as well as I can expect with a scout scope setup, 2.5x. I have not shot anything but paper with it, but I look forward to taking bear, moose, etc with confidence.

I've not seen anything but the basic 200gr Remington factory ammo. There is a guy in Soldotna, I believe, who loads and sells at all the gun shows. He might do up some rounds for you.

    PM for you.

I have bought ammo from him before. He is sorta between Soldotna and kenai. I cannot find his card and can't remember his name right now...

He made a bunch of 38-40 ammo for me back before I had dies.

Let me check the phone book.....OK here is one thing...

Could it be the Ammo Shop 907-283-6110
If that is not him, call Arron at Gator Guns and he can tell you who to call.

I need more 350 rem mag brass. I only have 80 or 100 rounds.

I have some 275 grain Barnes bullets from years ago I am trying to get working for close range. So far no luck with keeping them stable for very far.. You really have to shove them down inside the case.

Jeff ... that's a favorite load (more accurate than i am) for my Rem 700 classic ! ... however single loaded only in chamber with bullet just touching the rifling. I get high pressure primer signs with that load if i seat the bullet so it loads from the magazine. It's a short action Rem 700.

    Thumbs up Rem 600

I use this load in my Rem 600 I seat the bullet @ 2.80". Do you use Mag primers if so that is why you are running up the pressure........use Fed 210Match.

You could proably go 2.90" in the Ruger 77 or Rem 700.

    Thumbs up 350 Mag & 200 PSP

The 350 Rem mag with the Rem 200gr PSP is a black bear thumper.....excellent for deer also!

Reloader 15 is another good powder for the 350 Mag.

With 250gr Speer Hot Cor 60.0 of RL 15 and WLRM primers is another good load...COL 2.815"
