Headed for Healy, looking to get into predators there.
I'm moving to Healy, from Colorado, in a couple of weeks, and I'm looking to get back into predator hunting up there. I spent a few summer seasons in that area, up east of Ferry, and saw quite a few wolves in the hills, but that was 14 or so years ago, so I don't know what the predator situation there is now.
I've done some coyote hunting down here in the lower 48 in the past, and I'd love to get back into it up there.
I figured I'd post on here and see if I can get any tips, info or advice from anyone with experience in the area.
I'm not against driving a bit, and once I get settled, if anyone is looking for a partner and doesn't mind sharing a little knowledge, shoot me a PM... I don't know if its done the same way up there but I'd love to 'ride shotgun' to a rifle shooter, got a couple great 'yote guns to break in.
