    Default Cessna 195

I saw this really nice looking Cessna 195 for sale in New Orleans on craigslist today. I don't know anything about the plane I just happen to see the add. http://neworleans.craigslist.org/for/2813731276.html

They have a HUGE back seat and lots of room up front as well. It was like being in my grandma's 1948 Dodge sedan when I was a kid....

I had thought about a C-190 or 195 a few times as a flight tour airplane... But, the cost to run and maintain that radial engine put a dent in my plans.

I agree they are spendy to fly. That said, I have not seen one for that price. Most I have seen over the years were $90 plus. You can buy yourself a lot of flying time for that discount. Have someone that really knows 195's go over it closely if you proceed.

That's got to be a typo or something is wrong with it. Nice looking plane. Watch for corrosion in that part of the world.

I think the guy may have hit the "4" button instead of the "7" button, (they are right next to each other). I did a little internet sleuthing and found it for sale here http://www.goneflyingaviation.com/in...essna&Itemid=2 for $72,500. A lot better pictures too. Nice looking plane, it's out of Houma, LA.

I know the guy that owns the rights to the 190-195," The 195 Factory". Ask for Bill and he will most likely know about this plane and if not he is still the guy to talk to about it. He is a straight shooter and very helpful, he also travels to inspect planes for purchase. He operates out of Fulco airport, Johnstown,NY. 518 762-0220
