Default Another thought on Halibut management by Alaskans for Alaskans...

Just thought I would post another article on our fishery management forum

If a dipnetter dips a fish and there is no one around to see/hear it, Did he really dip?

    Wink That's been tried . . .

"The [Alaska] Legislature needs to stand up to [federal law] in Alaska at every turn."

—from the Dispatch article link above
Y'all might want to ask Jeff Davis how that worked for Alabama, Virginia, Georgia, and the rest . . .

My point being that "Our Governor" is not talking at all about the situation but he rallies on on Federal encroachment all the time. So he is picking and choosing who is going to offend by a pushback??? Looks like he is looking at the voting blocks and Monies and choosing who he wants to lose first?? A friend of mine is actually within the administration under resources and is an advisor to the Governor and I complaign to him all the time to have the Governor sound off on this, has he? Looks like politics takes place before the people again, and again, and again!!!!!
